Kelly Corbitt

Kelly Corbitt is a licensed psychotherapist and certified yoga instructor with a particular interest in the way the mind and body influence our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Kelly holds a Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from New York University and her 200-hour foundational yoga certification from OM Yoga Center in NYC.
Kelly’s approach in psychotherapy is diverse and eclectic, and includes roots in Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Relational, Attachment and Strengths-Based theories.  She incorporates Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into her work as well, as she helps clients address struggles with depression, anxiety, trauma processing and life transition.
In the 10-plus years since her 200-hour foundational teacher training at OM Yoga Center with Cyndi Lee, Jennifer Brilliant and Dana Strong, Kelly has taught yoga extensively in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Philadelphia and now back home in Bucks County, PA. Her studies have continued to evolve as well, and have included prenatal teacher training with Mary Barnes’s Yoga For Two ™ and with Candice Garrett’s Nine Moons Prenatal Yoga and Corina Benner’s Yin Yoga Teacher Training.  Kelly has also completed a Yoga and Trauma training with Holle Black, through the Center for Integrative Yoga Studies and with Amy Weintraub, creator of the LifeForce Yoga Healing Institute. Kelly has also completed a Reiki First Degree certification with Liz Conner at The Prancing Peacock and trained extensively with Mindful Schools.
